The Costa Brava, the wild coast, is the northeasternmost coastal strip in the region of Catalonia on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. The Costa Brava extends from the foothills of the Pyrenees on the French-Spanish border at Portbou and Llançà and Port de la Selva south and southwest to the Tordera estuary at Blanes.
