Javea, (Xàbia) is a small port town in the north of the Costa Blanca and lies between the Cape St Antonio in the north and Cape La Nau in the south with the residential area Balcon al Mar. The Mediterranean, with beautiful beaches of white fine sand, small and romantic, secluded bays, lapped on 25km in length, the rocky cliffs and small islands. The town of Javea (Xàbia) lies inland and has retained a historic core with tufa facades, gothic windows, wrought-iron balcony and window grilles and bright courtyards. Aduanas del Mar, the waterfront and El Arenal beach area with its commercial center are the tourist hotspots during the summer.
